An orchard & a dome is my space to explore the things I’m learning as a queer public school teacher, as a feminist anti-Zionist Jew in an interfaith relationship with a Baptist seminary student, as a wannabe academic, sometimes artist, foodie on a budget.
An orchard & a dome is an attempt to introduce the poet of my high school years to the academic analyzer she’s grown comfortable hiding behind.
An orchard & a dome is an exercise in being less afraid of being a cliché. It is a space to explore inspiration, joy, and meaning without the misconception that this journey is somehow inauthentic simply because it’s been done before.
An orchard & a dome is a work in progress.
